In the early 1950s of the Republic of China, local enthusiasts and enthusiastic people rushed in many ways. So the preparatory committee was established on April 7th. Through the organizational rules, the current Miaoli County Council Changjiang Jibao was elected as the chairman. The former township chief, Si Jinying, was in front of the meeting. They actively carried out preparations for the establishment of the school and purchased more than 5,200 square meters of land near the Zhonggang River in Nanzhuang East Village as the school site.

On August 2nd of the same year, the Miaoli County Government appointed Mr. Zhang Guowen as the preparatory director of the school to start enrollment and recruit three new students.    On October 11, the 50th year of the Republic of China, the Miaoli County Government officially ordered Mr. Zhang Guowen to be the first principal. In September 1987, the government implemented nine-year compulsory education for nationals. The school was restructured into Nanzhuang National High School in Miaoli County. Mr. Zhang Guowen was appointed as the principal. On August 31, 1949, Mr. Zhang Guowen was transferred to the school. The principal of Zhaonan Junior High School in this county was taken over by the principal of Taitung County Taiyuan Junior High School Wang Kun Yuan. On April 8, the Republic of China, President Wang was transferred to Touwu Junior High School in this county, and Mr. Huang Deqing took over the school.
