In the 54th year of the Republic of China, the government promoted the "One Township, One Junior High School" policy, in line with the struggle of local people and the strong assistance of the township chief Mr. Wu Ruilin and the county councillor Ms. Chi Laizu, Fanlu Township Office provided free school land and 1.5 hectares. With a funding of 300,000 yuan for the establishment of the school, the county government successfully approved the establishment of the school, which was transferred to the Education Department of the Taiwan Provincial Government on March 8th, 2005. It was approved by the Chiayi County Government on July 7th. In 1982, the Ministry of Education directed the establishment of the Cihui project. It was officially opened on August 1, 1983. Teachers arrived on September 13, and classes began.
