學校基本資料

本校創立於民國35年，初名「台北縣立雙溪初級中學」，為基隆、瑞芳地區第一所初級中學，首任校長連文滔先生，學生42人。民國57年8月1日，實施九年國教，奉令改名為「台北縣立雙溪國民中學」。民國85年8月 1日，改制為「雙溪完全中學」，增建教學大樓及男女學生宿舍，招收中一至中六之國、高中部學生。民國89年8月1日更名為「台北縣立雙溪高級中學」。民國 90 年 8 月起正式開辦綜合高中業務。陳崑玉校長於民國95年8月1日就任，在既有基礎之上，進一步深化教學品質、提升行政效能，帶領學校於 96-98學年度連續3年榮獲教育部高中優質化方案獎勵，並形塑「綠博士學校」之辦學願景。民國100年1月1日更名為「新北市立雙溪高級中學」。民國100年8月1日，柯雅菱女士遴選為本校第18任校長，以「優質高中、特色課程、就近入學」為辦學願景。
民國104年彭盛佐先生遴選為本校第19任校長，並於民國108年連任成功為第20任校長。彭校長以「國際視野下的多元文化教育」為治校願景，認為教育是創造價值與感動的過程，重視公平，追求正義，以「行動式的團隊、合作式的運作、藝術式的校園」的理念建構學校的圖像。現任校長葉俊士持續積極推動國際教育，期望培育學習力、適應力、資訊力、溝通力、生存力並俱的時代青年。
Shuang-Xi high school is a historical school and it was originally established for Japanese students in the Japanese colonial period. After the reclamation of Taiwan, chief of township, Mr. Wen-Dao,Lian(連文瑫) suggested squires to found a secondary school with idle school buildings having observed that students of our township must travel over mountains for middle school education in Keelung and Yilan. Approved by township chiefs of Gongliao (貢寮)and Pingxi(平溪), Mr. Wen-Dao,Lian, resumed a concurrent duty of first president in 1946. This school had been converted into a comprehensive junior-senior high school by adding a senior high department in 1996. There are 7 classes of junior department and 13 classes of senior department open for enrollment.

This is a diversely-developed school. In curriculum, it offers various courses like natural science, social science, business service and information technology etc. Through different backgrounds of modules, students can obtain abilities to take future challenges. For interpersonal communication, we focus on team cooperation, and we also encourage self- discipline and reciprocity. By interclass competitions on sports such as volley ball, basketball, tug-of-war, and relay race etc., students not only build up body and spirit but are also unified as one. In ethical education, we set esteem as the central value by practicing on environmental education and everyday living etiquette.

The last vision from us is carried through combining characteristic of boarding schools. Students are able to learn different aspects of social communication and obtaining good communication skills for future career by living with their peers. We also expect that our students will become independent and knowledgeable talents by self-caring and group-lodging experiences.

本校所在雙溪地區，位於臺灣東北角，周圍有純淨的青山綠水圍繞，地方上有歷史悠久的「 貂山吟社」，校內設有面積廣大的人工溼地，肩負汙水淨化與生 態復育功能，因此擁有豐富絕佳的自然生態與人文歷史資源。自民國95年起，在既有的「成功學園」，培養學生「知書」、「達禮」精神的基礎上，將學校發展定位為「綠博士學校」（Shuang-XiDr.Green），並以「維護多樣生態環境、形塑良好生活素養、 輔導適性生涯發展、創建自我生命價值」為四大主軸，樹立「愛學、樂群、國際、 永續、創新」為學校願景，陶冶學生具備「學習力、表達力、實踐力、環境關懷力」四項核心能力，以此發展「多元」、「適性」課程，形塑學校文化與特色，培養「具環境意識、環保行動力、社會關懷實踐與全球視野」的「雙溪綠博士」。
