Ganyuan Junior High School was established in 1978 and is situated in the Shulin District of New Taipei City. It is known for being a beautiful school and hosts approximately 280 students. Through the effort of our students teachers, and the surrounding community, we have cultivated an educational environment characterized by passion, friendliness, and creativity.

Our campus features 80 ancient trees and expansive green spaces, making it a beautiful school. Each student has access to 330 square meters of space, including large basketball courts, volleyball courts, and playground , providing ample opportunities for students to engage in various athletic activities.

Activities and curriculum to enhance understanding of Taiwanese culture.
Our students are engaged and aware of their rich cultural heritage. At Ganyuan Junior High School, we emphasize fostering cultural identity and appreciation among our students. To achieve this, we offer various classes such as shadow puppetry, pottery, calligraphy, traditional Japanese drumming, and traditional cuisine cooking.

A variety of clubs develop students potential.
At Ganyuan Junior High School, we do not only focus on students' academic performance but also their holistic education. We offer a wide variety of clubs for students, including archery ,volunteering, languages, arts, sports, and many more. Our school's archery team has won Olympic silver medals, Asian Games silver medals, and national gold medals. Our students possess calm and focused personalities, which often lead to good results in various competitions.
