"Guogangshan" is the four-legged pavilion next to the four-legged pavilion. The "port" passing through the port refers to the river-the Keelung River at the foot of the mountain. Crossing Hong Kong means "crossing the river". The Keelung River comes from the Ruifang Mountain, flows through the Sijiaoting area, and gradually becomes a settlement. The Tamsui Tingji records "Four-foot Tingdu, Bai Ninety-three Miles North of Tingbei". The "four-legged pavilion" originated from two theories: one said it was a four-legged pavilion, and the other said that the four-legged pavilion was named after a four-pillar pavilion at the Four-legged Pavilion Public School (now Ruiting Elementary School). Passers-by in Taipei and Yilan take a break. The Sijiaoting area is backed by Gangshan, and there is the Keelung River in front of it, which is the entrance and exit of Taipei and Yilan. People come and go here. Therefore, the Sijiaotingpu area has begun to gather residents.
From the Qing Dynasty to the era of Japanese occupation, the Ruifang area was the most important coalfield location in Taiwan. Among them, the Sijiaoting and Houtong coalfields had the most abundant coal mines. The Sijiaoting Coal Field was listed as the best coal field in Taiwan during the early days of Japanese occupation because of its large amount of coal and good coal quality. The residents of Sijiaoting were very proud of it. The coal mine became the main driving force for the sustained and stable growth of the settlement. However, the major disasters in the coal mines in the 1970s and 1980s wiped out the glorious history of mining. The migration of people was serious, and the Sijiaoting community became a sparsely populated settlement.
There are rows of sweet-scented osmanthus in Ruiting Elementary School. Every time the flowers bloom, the fragrance fills the campus, and the children are immersed in the scent of sweet-scented osmanthus. Osmanthus fragrans also has a homophonic "precious" flower, to retrieve the noble value of children. The so-called "heroes are not afraid of low births." Children and parents are reluctant to talk about the low births of ancestors miners, but they don't understand that coal mines have created Taiwan's rich industrial history. We use sweet-scented osmanthus as the theme, combined with the art education and language education that have been rooted in our school for many years, and hope that children can develop the ability of "inquiry", "thinking" and "cooperation" through the course of observation, and use "creative thinking" and "innovative practice". Transform into a cultural and creative expert, transform the fragrance of Muxi into innovative cultural and creative, and create a school with osmanthus characteristics.
