The school was founded in August, 1969. The school site is located near Chengcheng Lake. The provincial government sent Mr. Li Xiangtao as the first principal. At the beginning of the establishment of the school, eight classrooms in Wunshan Elementary School were temporarily borrowed to enroll the first 12 classes of junior high school students.
Thanks to Fengshan Tropical Horticulture Laboratory generously donated and provided six hectares of land for school construction.
