Welcome to
The Affiliated Tao-Yuan Agricultural & Industrial Senior High School of the
National Taipei University of Technology. The school is located on Cheng-Kong Rd in Tao-yuan, Taiwan, the R.O.C.This school was established on April 25,1938, and originally it was a 5-year agricultural school. In 1967, the name of this school was changed to Tao-yuan Agricultural & Industrial Vocational School because of newly-established industrial departments and the school became a 3-year vocational high school.
In 2016, the school was affiliated with National Taipei University of Technology, which is one of the best universities in Taiwan. At present, the school has 7 groups that run 15 programs, with a total of 84 classes and about 2400 students.

The school covers an area of 25,1588 square meters, and is one of the largest high schools in Taiwan. There are eight divisions to manage the school. They are
Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, General Affairs, the Counselors’ Office,
Library, Practice and Consulting, and Research and Development. It is one of the most popular vocational schools in Taiwan.

The Affiliated Tao-Yuan Agricultural & Industrial Senior High School of National Taipei University of Technology, known as TYAI, is a vocational high school that is affiliated with the Taipei University of Technology. The school has 7 groups, including 15 programs.The groups are Agricultural, Mechanical Engineering, Power Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Physical Education, Chemical Engineering and Special Education.

In order to meet modern needs, the group of Agriculture has become more refined. The goal of the Program of Farm Management is to train modern farmers, and the Horticulture Program trains students to become masters of gardening and landscaping. The Fowl and Livestock Program cultivates students’ knowledge of pets, fowls and livestock management. It is suitable for students who like animals. In recent years new courses and equipment have been added. For example, the Fowl and Livestock Program has added pet grooming, and the Horticulture Department has adopted an automated greenhouse.

Mechanical Engineering group includes Mechanical Engineering Program, Bio-industrial Mechatronics Program, and Mold and Die Engineering Program. Students from Mechanical Engineering Program are trained with practical skills and knowledge to operate and maintain different equipment in factories. In Bio-industrial Mechatronics Program, students learn how to write PLC programs and operates robotic arms.In Mold and Die Engineering Program, students are trained to cast molds and make dies.

The group of Power Mechanical Engineering includes Auto Mechanics Program and Dynamic Mechanics Program.In the former program,students learn automobile theories and skills repairing cars. The other students learn how to operate and repair heavy machines.

In the group of Electrical and Electronics engineering, students learn technological and digital theory and skills. Department of electronics teaches about electricity and basic electronics.In the department of electrical engineering, students learn about power generation, transformation,and transmission.

In the Department of Chemical Engineering, it develops students’ skills in chemical engineering experimentation and profession of chemical engineering.

The school’s Department of Physical Education offers physical education classes and sports program. The school’s baseball team has won many awards. Students from TYAI won gold medals at the 29th summer Universiade held in Taipei in 2017.

TYAI welcomes athletes and prepares them for the sports and leisure industries. TYAI is affiliated to the National Taipei University of Technology. The affiliation has modernized instruction, and has improved students’ international academic competitiveness.

Pathway:
More than 95% of the students go to colleges for further study; 56% go to public universities.
