Chung Cheng Elementary School in Xindian District, New Taipei City was founded on January 1, 1976. The school gradually completed the construction of the Qimeng Building, Yangzheng Building, Ziqiang Building, Xingjian Building, Yangde Building, Lide Building, and Chung Cheng Building from 1976 to 1987.

In 1998, the school established a kindergarten.

After the major earthquake on September 21, 1999, the Chung Cheng Building was damaged and underwent reconstruction.

The school currently has approximately 1,698 students, 146 teachers, and a total of 64 classes.

Chung Cheng Elementary School was established on January 1, 1976, located in Xindian District, New Taipei City. After years of development, the school completed the construction of its Qimeng Building, Yangzheng Building, Ziqiang Building, Xingjian Building, Yangde Building, Lide Building, and Chung Cheng Building between 1976 and 1987. The kindergarten was established in 1998. However, the earthquake on September 21, 1999, caused damage to the Chung Cheng Building, which was rebuilt in 2001.

To ensure that students have nutritious and balanced meals, the school has a self-sufficient kitchen that provides over 2,000 lunches daily, not only for school faculty and students but also for assisting in the provision of meals to Wen Shan Junior High School.

Currently, the school has approximately 1,897 elementary students, 131 elementary teachers, and 64 classes.
