School History
To promote balanced urban and rural education and support the development of education in the Xinzhuang area, the Taiwan Provincial Government established the preparatory office of our school on October 18, 1990. It was officially founded on July 1, 1992, with the name "Taiwan Provincial Hsinchuang Senior High School." On February 1, 2000, it was restructured as a national institution and renamed "National Hsinchuang Senior High School." On January 1, 2013, it was transferred to New Taipei City and became "New Taipei City Hsinchuang Senior High School."
Our school is located at No. 135 Zhongping Road, Xinzhuang District, covering an area of approximately 3.7 hectares. It is situated at the intersection of Xingfu Road and Zhongping Road in Xinzhuang District. It is in close proximity to areas including Xinzhuang District, Taishan District, Wugu District, Linkou District, as well as parts of Banqiao District, Sanchong District, and Shulin District. The location offers convenient transportation and is adjacent to the Xinzhuang Cultural and Arts Center, creating a rich cultural and educational atmosphere, making it an ideal environment for young students' education.
The school's physical infrastructure includes an administration building with regular classrooms, a science and education building with arts classrooms, an instructional building with a sports field, a stadium, a school garden, landscaping, a library, and a student activity center.
Our school is the first public high school in Xinzhuang City, offering co-educational programs, including an art experimental class. In its inaugural year, the school borrowed facilities from Xintai Elementary School and enrolled six classes of freshmen. On August 1, 1993, the school moved back to its own premises, and the number of students increased to 15 classes. In the academic year 1994, it increased to 25 classes, and in the academic year 1995, it increased to 36 classes. Starting from the academic year 1997, the school expanded to a total of 51 classes. Currently, there are 57 classes in total, including 3 art classes.
Our school's educational goal is to provide holistic education with a balanced development of the five aspects of education. It places a strong emphasis on humanistic education. We implement regular teaching, with equal emphasis on academic subjects and arts and talents education. We also strengthen students' life education and extracurricular activities.
The school's administration focuses on legal compliance, hierarchical responsibility, delegation of authority at each level, transparency in decision-making processes, and democratization. We regularly organize educational seminars, computer workshops, and other courses, encouraging teachers to pursue in-service professional development, acquire new knowledge, and promote their self-growth. Since the founding of the school, the number of new students residing in the Greater Xinzhuang area has increased year by year, reaching over 90%, reflecting the school's commitment to the government's goal of providing convenient education to outstanding young students in the Greater Xinzhuang area.
