【International Education Global Citizenship Competency Self-Assessment Scale】
International Education 2.0 aims to cultivate global citizens. This scale is based on the indicators of international education core competencies, focusing on four major themes for fostering global citizenship: demonstrating national values, respecting diverse cultures with international understanding, strengthening international mobility, and fulfilling the responsibilities of a global citizen. It also considers the development of three significant dimensions of competency learning outcomes. After the development of the scale, experts and scholars conducted a content validity assessment, which was further revised based on pilot testing to become the official scale. This scale allows schools to assess students' learning outcomes in international education and global citizenship competencies. Teachers can use the results from students completing this scale to understand their abilities in various aspects. They can also employ it as a pre-test and post-test in the curriculum to track students' growth in capacities.
