High School Climate Action Online Forum Regulations

Event Purpose:
This event aims to encourage the participation of the new generation in international sustainability issues, promote correct knowledge and understanding of climate change-related issues, raise students' international awareness of climate action, and provide an opportunity for teachers to share their SDGs-related teaching experiences and professional curriculum practices.

Event Purpose:
This event aims to encourage the participation of the new generation in international sustainability issues, promote correct knowledge and understanding of climate change-related issues, raise students' international awareness of climate action, and provide an opportunity for teachers to share their SDGs-related teaching experiences and professional curriculum practices.
Designated Topics:
The theme of this forum is based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13. Please choose ONE of the following two designated topics to create your own presentation title:
- Topic 1
- Given the challenges posed by climate change in your country (natural disasters like water scarcity, power outages, heavy rain, landslides, etc.) Please explain the solutions implemented by the government or enterprises. Analyze this case, and then propose a personal perspectives and suggestions.
- Topic 2
- Given the challenges posed by climate change in your country (natural disasters like water scarcity, power outages, heavy rain, landslides, etc.) Please explain the solutions implemented by the community or schools. Analyze this case, and then propose a personal perspectives and suggestions.
- Taiwanese School:
- New Taipei Municipal Zhonghe Senior High School
- Taichung Municipal Hui-Wen High School
- Kaohsiung Municipal Wun Shan Senior High School
- Foreign School:
- Spanish – Benjamin Franklin International School
- French – Nantes Jules Verne Junior and High School
- Japan - Ise High School
Google Meet Attendance Limit:
60 people
Participants:
- Teachers and students from global high schools and elementary schools
- Personnel from 26 mission schools of the International Education Resource Center (IERC)
Please register online through the Google registration form
before May 30, 2023 5pm (UTC +8).
After confirming the identity, the organizer will send an email with a link to the Google Meet.
